Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

The KAUST Imaging and Characterization Core Lab (IAC), Electron Microscopy (EM) Unit, invites researchers to an enriching week of training in Cryo-TEM Imaging and Sample Vitrification for single particle analysis. This training is designed to provide attendees with comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in specimen preparation (vitrification), fundamental TEM and electron-optics, low-dose electron imaging, and data collection and processing.
During the training, participants will have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals and practical applications of Cryo-TEM imaging and sample vitrification. The program includes both theoretical lessons and practical sessions to ensure a well-rounded learning experience.
The minimal prerequisites are basic/intermediate knowledge of TEM imaging.
The mandatory prerequisites are good knowledge and mastery of TEM imaging techniques.
Please register here for the theoretical lessons only or both theoretical and practical by October 26, 12:00 PM. (Can this be extended?)
For questions, please email iac.em@kaust.edu.sa.
