With a mission to promote full use of resources and environmental sustainability, KAUST offers surplus research equipment to Principal Investigators, Research Centers and the Core Labs, administered by the KAUST Research Asset Management team. The Research Equipment Surplus Catalog lists all available surplus research equipment that is ready for reuse.
All items in the catalog, previously purchased by KAUST researchers, are expected to have significant useful life and are offered free of charge. A detailed justification of the need for the equipment is required for any equipment that requires ASEPC approval.
After receiving a request, the Research Asset Support Team will verify the requested equipment’s availability, coordinate with KAUST teams to deliver the equipment to a KAUST location, and follow up to complete required asset transfer forms.
