Check out a full list of training hosted by the Imaging and Characterization Core Lab
We provide training and support so our users can independently utilize our facilities and equipment wherever possible. To enable independent use, we provide regular training during the academic year. Training events cover all of the techniques available in the lab, including electron microscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, surface analysis, optical microscopy, and physical characterization.
The lab also organizes workshops focusing on different technical areas. These events are open to the entire KAUST academic community, KAUST industrial partners and Saudi academic institutions.
Lab users are required to have all the necessary training to gain access to our facilities and equipment. All lab users must pass the required lab safety classes, and the training for specific tools they will use before they can independently operate in our facilities.
