This short training session would describe the general engineering practice of designing products in such a way that they are easy to manufacture considering types of material and off the shelf sizes of these materials.
We encourage the potential workshop users from all departments to participate in this short training session to have the ability to transcribe requirements into design, cost effectively.There is limited capacity for this training.

The Workshops Core Lab organizes a series of training sessions for users. These sessions are offered every spring and fall semesters to provide hands-on instructions for lab users. This semester, the training sessions include information on how to use basic electronic lab equipment, introduction to LabVIEW and data acquisition, the importance of GD&T, understanding manufacturability, basic and advanced solid works and building parts with 3D printers.
