Workshops training: 3D printing

    ​​​​​​3D printing, also known as additive manufacturing, is one of the fastest growing and developing industries around the globe. KAUST is a pioneer in introducing 3D printing technology in the region. The Workshops Core Lab is equipped with several of the latest bench-top to industrial 3D printers. Training covers the design for 3D printing and 3D printer operations.

    We invite potential users from all KAUST departments to attend this session to become familiar with 3D printing technology.  There is limited capacity for this training.

    About this training

    The Workshops Core Lab organizes a series of training sessions for users. These sessions will be offered every semester to provide hands-on instruction for lab users. This semester, training sessions include information on how to use basic electronic lab equipment, introduction to LabVIEW and data acquisition, the importance of GD&T, basic and advanced solid works and building parts with 3D printers.
